Haptiq AS is a developer of a Platform-as-a-Service-solution for no-code development of virtual reality simulators for training, planning and remote assistance. We do both direct sales and sales through our resellers. Our market is global.
We are a start-up entering the scale-up stage, and we need to strenghten our team and are therefore seeking a focused key account manager.
You will join an entrepreneurial setting with a small but growing and very innovative and competent team. You will be responsible for handling important client accounts and must build and maintain a strong relationship with customers and resellers. You will be the lead point of contact for all key matters for clients in your account, and should anticipate their needs, work internally to ensure their needs are met, and help the client succeed. You will also be responsible for growing your accounts and bring in new business from the reseller networks. This position reports to the CEO.
Responsibilities and task:
- Developing a solid and trusting relationship between your accounts and company
- Resolving key client issues and complaints
- Developing a complete understanding of key account needs
- Anticipating key account changes and improvements
- Managing communications between key accounts and internal teams
- Managing account team assigned to each account
- Strategic planning to improve results
- Negotiating contracts with the client
- Establishing and overseeing budgets pertaining your accounts and account team
- Working with design, sales team, creative, advertising, logistics, managers, marketing, and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs met
- Collaborating with the sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
- Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training
- Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
- Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management
- Expanding relationships and bringing in new clients
About you:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field; Master’s degree preferred
- Four to five years’ previous work experience in sales, management, key account management, or relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Norwegian/English); must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
- Basic computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel skills
- Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts
- Ability to multitask and manage more than one client account
- Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
- Strong interest for working within innovative software environments
