As our Sales Director you become part of a trailblazer team, leading the sales and commercial activities towards the offshore drilling market. You manage a team of highly professional and motivated commercial staff – collaborating closely with our product and analyst teams – all working together to merge the best-in-class market data systems with our vision of making the Ocean Industries sustainable.

Main responsibilities:

  • Owning and achieving the annual sales targets for the Rig and Energy & Emission business
  • Lead and motivate the Rig and Energy & Emission sales team
  • Build and maintain our market penetration strategy and execution for our product portfolio
  • Actively contribute to our marketing strategy (media/online/events/other channels)
  • Identify and develop new clients and opportunities
  • Establish long lasting partnerships with clients ensuring value for our customers and continued business from our accounts
  • Provide feedback from clients/input to the product development
  • Market intelligence for Esgian product portfolio

We believe you are meant for this job if you have minimum a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5-15 years of relevant commercial experience preferably in the offshore rig and/or software industry. You may also have experience from maritime, OEM or service providers. You should have a proven sales executive track-record, ability to drive the sales process from plan to close, demonstrable experience as head of sales, excellent communication skills, as well as being an exemplary English speaker.
